Terms & Conditions


This agreement constitutes to a minimum of a 28 day rolling flexi rental and will be charged up to a maximum of 24 months. The vehicle may be changed mid contract by yourselves, we may also wish to update the vehicle during your flexi rental period (notice will be given).


Rates include maintenance, breakdown cover, replacement vehicle* and road tax. The prices quoted are per 28 days and excludes VAT. Prices quoted are for use in mainland UK only. Please note, additional charges will apply for overseas use.   If you wish to take your vehicle overseas, you must contact DVR Flexi & Long Term Hire in advance so that the appropriate paperwork may be prepared and sent to you.

* In the event of a vehicle break down, if your vehicle can not be repaired straight away.


Vehicles must be covered by fully comprehensive insurance policy and your insurance details must be notified and accepted by DVR Flexi & Long Term Hire prior to hire.  An insurance policy must be provided prior to the collection of the vehicle.

Fuel Policy

All vehicles are run empty to empty.  You must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel that is had in it at the start of the hire.

Payment Terms

Payment is required by credit or debit card (Visa / MasterCard).  An initial payment of 28 days rental charges will be taken on vehicle collection In the event that you return the vehicle earlier than the date originally agreed, you should contact DVR Flexi & Long Term Hire to agree this.

Identification required

When collecting the vehicle you must present: –

  • A valid driving licence. If old (paper−only) style, official photo ID must also be presented.
  • A credit or debit card in your own name
  • Your National Insurance Number
  • Proof of Identity – utility bill or bank statement.  No older than three months old with your home address on it.

Rental period

You will have the vehicle for the rental period shown in your Flexi Rental Agreement (which will have been emailed to you).  If you wish to extend the vehicle past the original agreed dates, please contact DVR Flexi & Long Term Hire.

Rental Agreement

You will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement when you collect your hire vehicle.

Complaint Procedure

All complaints should be made in writing to either:

Receipt of a complaint will be acknowledged within 1 working day. The Complaint will then be investigated by the Complaints Department and where possible a decision reached. Further information may be required from you to enable the decision making process. A decision will be communicated to you within 5 working days.
